C.R. England recently donated over $2,500 to the South Texas Food Bank.
The donation is part of their community outreach program “One Against Childhood Hunger,” which was launched in partnership with England Logistics.
The mission of their program is to tackle childhood hunger one truckload at a time.
For each delivery completed by C.R. England, one meal is donated to a hungry child. These meals are distributed to food banks across the nation.
Each completed business transaction with England Logistics is matched with a contribution toward a meal for a hungry child.
David Acres, the president of the Mexican division of CR England says, “too many children face the challenge of not knowing where their next meal will come from.”
Just this year alone, the program has donated 7,000 meals across 21 different food banks including the South Texas Food Bank.
