At a listening session at the Great American Trucking Show this past Friday, FMCSA representatives were available to hear what truckers had to say about upcoming HOS changes.
The representatives included FMCSA Administrator, Ray Martinez.
During the session, truckers brought up a number of concerns about the real-world application of changes to HOS. Some of the topics discussed were driver coercion, increased freedom with the split-sleeper berth provision, female driver harassment, and safety scores.
Industry groups including TruckerNation, OOIDA, and Real Women in Trucking were in attendance at the listening session to sound off their concerns.
