Through Meals for 18 Wheels, volunteers deliver meals to truck drivers in need!
Meals for 18 Wheels is a temporary service for drivers who are in need of a meal. The organization offers to help out a driver as many as three times in a six month period.
Volunteers can sign up to help at the Meals for 18 Wheels Facebook page. By clicking the ‘sign up’ button, volunteers enter their name, phone number, and home base area, if they can text you when a driver in need is in the area, and if you can help during major holidays, throughout the year, or if you have no time restrictions.
Meals for 18 Wheels organizers coordinate available volunteers with requests for a plate of food. The volunteer is then put into contact with the driver so the volunteer can deliver the food.
